On February 26, 2025, representatives from CAPCOM, the world-leading game studio from Japan, led by Hideto Yoda, Hideto Yoda, Tomokazu Kaneko and Ricky Li Bian, visited the Computer Game and Esport program at Rangsit University and discussed future collaboration.
All of us at CGE Rangsit, longtime CAPCOM fans, were thrilled and deeply honored to welcome CAPCOM's representatives today.
Mr. Hideto Yoda, producer of Mega Man X DiVE, had the chance to play Earth Atlantis, a Thai-made game by Computer Game faculty and alumni. Earth Atlantis is now available on many platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Steam and iOS.
Students showcased their work for our guests from CAPCOM, with games across many genres that demonstrated their creativity, design skills and technical ability. The atmosphere was lively.
Esports track students went all out! They showed off their esports production skills with Street Fighter, running a full live broadcast and game casting for the team from CAPCOM, the legendary Japanese studio, to see live.
The CAPCOM team offered advice, ideas and encouragement to the students, and praised the quality of their work, noting that many of the games had interesting concepts with the potential to grow internationally.
